- The 4" grooved butterfly valve is used for on/off control of the flow of water, air, and oil.
- The 4" grooved butterfly valve is designed with grooved ends that allow for quick and easy installation between two grooved-end pipes using grooved couplings. This connection method makes installation faster and easier compared to flanged or welded joints, while still providing a secure, leak-resistant seal.
- The valve body is made of CF8M stainless steel, offering greater corrosion resistance compared to traditional brass or copper valves. It features a CF8M stainless steel disc and a 316 stainless steel stem.
- The valve can be worm gear operated, utilizing a worm gear mechanism with a quarter-turn handwheel to open or close the valve, allowing for precise adjustment of its position.
- The NBR stem seals provide reliable sealing performance and resistance to oils, water, and hydraulic fluids.
- The NBR seat offers a tight seal and good wear resistance.
- The butterfly valve features a concentric design, in which the turning axis and axial alignment of the disc are both centered with the valve body, making it compact and cost-effective.
- The valve is rated ANSI Class 150, with a maximum working pressure of approximately 285 psi (at 100°F).
- The butterfly valve is designed for use with water, air, oil, and fuel. Typical applications include industrial/process piping, water treatment and irrigation.
