A UHF RFID tag is a type of RFID tag that operates in the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) range, typically 860 to 960 MHz. These tags are used for tracking and identifying objects wirelessly using radio waves and are common in industries like logistics, retail, manufacturing, and access control.
UHF RFID tags typically have a read range of up to 10 meters (33 feet), but this can be extended with optimized systems. These tags are usually passive, meaning they have no internal battery and are powered by the signal from the RFID reader.
