Pneumatic Wafer Butterfly Valves

Wafer butterfly valves are compact and lightweight, designed to fit between two pipe flanges. They are perfect for systems where space is limited and are ideal for low to medium pressure systems. Due to their lightweight design, wafer butterfly valves are often used in large-diameter pipelines. Common applications include HVAC systems, water treatment, and fire protection.

A pneumatic wafer butterfly valve consists of a butterfly valve body with a pneumatic actuator mounted on top. The pneumatic actuator uses compressed air to operate the valve automatically, typically with a quarter-turn motion, allowing fast and remote operation. It can be either single-acting, featuring a spring return mechanism, or double-acting, where air pressure is used to both open and close the valve. It often supports both on/off control and modulating control.
