Electric Wafer Butterfly Valves
Wafer butterfly valves are compact and lightweight, designed to fit between two pipe flanges. They are perfect for systems where space is limited and are ideal for low to medium pressure systems. Due to their lightweight design, wafer butterfly valves are often used in large-diameter pipelines. Common applications include HVAC systems, water treatment, and fire protection.
An electric wafer butterfly valve consists of a butterfly valve body with an electric actuator mounted on top. The electric actuator is powered by electricity (typically 24V DC, 110V AC, or 220V AC) and operates the valve with a quarter-turn motion to open or close it, allowing for fast and remote operation. The actuator is controlled by signals from a control system, such as a PLC or a switch. It often supports both on/off control and modulating control.
